Industrial Temp

The standard operating temperature range for most optical transceivers, what is known as “Commercial Temperature” (COM or C-Temp), is 0°C to +70°C. Many mission-critical applications in the aerospace, transportation, military, energy and industrial automation markets require optical transceivers that will function reliably across extreme temperature ranges. Therefore, Fluxlight offers many transceivers with an operating temperature range referred to as “Industrial Temperature” (aka, IND or I-Temp) range of -40°C to +85°C. Please note that some newer technologies, while substantially broader than C-Temp, cannot support the full -40°C to +85°C. Please refer our downloadable datasheets to see the exact operating temperature specification for each individual part. All Fluxlight I-Temp parts are guaranteed to support full functionality over the life of the product even in severe industrial, military and a variety of Outside Plant (OSP) non-temperature-controlled environments. Fluxlight can make this guarantee because all our I-Temp parts are built entirely with industrial grade components and 100% of our I-Temp optical transceivers are tested across the full specified operating temperature range (for an example of our testing procedures see: link). For more information feel free to contact our experts at 1-888-874-7574 or by email at: quotes@fluxlight.com.
