How do I find a product? There are various ways of finding a product. If you know the part number you are looking for you may type in the space just to the left of the "Search" button near the top right of each page, then click search. Alternatively, you may click on one of our major product categories (Transceivers, Media Converters, Cables) which will take you to a search-by-filter page. The main window on this page shows the parts matching your current filter parameters. Clicking the various radio buttons in the filter on the left will cause the the main matching items window to dynamic update to just those parts that match your filter. This usually allows users to quickly find the item for which they are searching.
Do you sell any used parts? No. Fluxlight, Inc. deals exclusively in brand new parts. With most of the types of products we sell, in most applications, there is little if any signs of "wear and tear" even after years of use, making it difficult or impossible to differentiate new from used. While some vendors offer used parts (usually at a lower price than new), FluxLight steadfastly refrains from dealing in used parts. That way, we can confidently offer our industry leading warranty and our customers can be confident of years of trouble-free service.
Will using Fluxlight parts in my equipment void the manufacturers warranty of that equipment? Absolutely not. While this objection is often raised by switch manufacturers it is absolutely not true. In fact, the concept that the validity of a manufacturers warranty is dependent upon equipping that manufacturers products (with maintenance or accessory parts) solely with parts from the original manufacturer is called a "TIE-IN WARRANTY" and is prohibited by law. In the U.S., the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (1975) specifically states this prohibition.
