X2 Modules

X2 Modules: X2 fiber optic transceivers are hot swappable modules designed for 10Gbps applications. The X2 MSA was made by eight companies including JDSU, NEC, OPNEXT and TYCO, etc. X2 modules are suitable for use in 10Gbps LANs, enterprise networks and telecommunications. X2 modules are available supporting a wide range of transmission standards in the 10Gbps range including the 10Gbps Ethernet, OC192/STM-6 SONET/SDH, OC192 VSR and 8G/10G Fibre Channel.
